so, after my night of only one hour of sleep, i did manage a night of 7 hours! then last night i slept about 5. i woke up and couldn’t get back to sleep. i should have checked the clock before i “woke up” the boy… i bet he is tired at work right now.
monday was still a part of our “weekend” as danny’s shift rotates through days off. we did a lot of cleaning. i cleaned the animal room (with the exception of changing the cat little completely right before we go, and getting some poo out of the corner of bun’s hutch – she was grumpy and did not want to come out an play so i could get in there). danny scooped the dog poops out back and mowed the grass/weeds. i scrubbed all the animal hair off our diningroom rug (hey! i forgot it was black!), mopped the kitchen/diningroom, did a lot of dishes (my fault for leaving them around the house), and cleaned up the table and placemants. danny vacuumed all the carpets and vents. tonight i got the dogs both bathed, and i washed both sets of sheets and our comforter. chores left to do in the next 5 days: wash the dirty clothes (some twice since we can’t go naked for 5 days), redo some of my braids that are very old, clean the bathrooms (after braiding because i get weave everywhere), grocery shop for a few needed trip items (and some foods for our house sitting moose), stop by the poo box (my name for the p.o. box), and pick up any remaining messes.
today we ran errands. we ate veggie burgers for lunch, then braved the maul to find danny some new sandels. he was in need of new ones and it made sense to get them before our beach road trip. we couldn’t afford anything they had there, ut we found some sketchers on sale at kohls. when we got home we walked the dogs in the pea soup humidity. we ate leftover chinese food for dinner (a treat sunday night as a thank you for watching our friends’ dog). afterwards i summoned the energy to bathe the beasties and do bedding laundry. i had freelance work to do so i postponed the cam show till tomorrow night. sorry about that! after nearly finishing my 2 hour project i got super super tired. i couldn’t lay down because all the sheets were int he dryer so i curled up on the papasan chair and ended up napping. i got up, finished the project, stirred the laundry, and updated my store to add my new photo.
work wise this week i still need to finish some quotation graphics and send them to the client for approval, and move forward as needed on a web design project. for my site i need to try to get through my queue of shows waiting to be added to the gallery and continue adding old diary entries to my databse. i did get the photoshoot gallery up for members.
a couple people sent me some beach cash for my birthday. i sent you thank-yous in private, but did want to mention it here. thanks!
