stephanie is: okay okay…
i was a bit too nerved up last night to sleep, i guess because i am getting my hopes up about the job. so i got about 4 hours of sleep. so not enough. i took 50 in to their office. it took about 40 minutes from parking spot to parking spot. i was early, but i’d rather be 20 minutes early than 2 minutes late to an important meeting. the receptionist (or office manager?) was very kind. i was watching what people wore as they walked by to get a sense of what the dress code is there. the men were in polos and slacks. i saw two women in business casual attire, three in flip-flops, and two in jeans. so it seems fairly relaxed. a good thing because i can’t afford nice suits right now.

my meeting was with the associate art director so she could have a chance to go over my porfolio in person. she walked in carrying a blue fleece monkey she had sewn for an expectant co-worker. i was impressed – it was a very cute stuffy. she was really nice. i still only know that they have 2 more people to interview and then they will be decideing soon after. so don’t mind me if i slowly go crazy over the next week.

i took the beltway home, thanks to the directions i printed out from mapquest. it only took 22 minutes. i got home less than 2 hours after i had left. since i was so tired i crawled into bed with danny (who was just then going to sleep) and got 3 more hours. 7 hours is a much better sleep total and i feel fine now.

i think i will be doing a photoshoot with photo_obscura and azcra on july 4th (so long as i don’t have work obligations that day). i will have to make sure i get a reasonable amount of excersize between now and ten. i know i am a skinny gal, but since i hit 25 i’ve been prone to less than smooth thighs. stupid aging process.

speaking of ageing – i will be 27 in less than a month! gaaah.

i have the hugest craving for a spicey queso and guacamole from don pablos. but eating out costs money.
