i am pretty sure i just found a tick on the tip of china’s ear. it is eather that or a tick-shaped scab. once she realized i had stopped petting her and was paying attention to her ears so started running from me. i go through this every time i have to clean her ears (which is often since she is prone to infections. i called out vet’s office and asked what i needed to do. it involved tweezers and being careful etc… after only trying to get a closer look, tweezers still in my pocket, i quickly saw it was not going to happen without a crew of at least three people. i just called and set up a vet tech appointment for 6:10pm (cheaper since the vet tech just takes her back to do what the need to and you can usually avoid $30 for an exame fee.
so now i just have to think of a way to get china out of the house without making india loose her mind and wake up danny. probably little hope of that too.
i have the heebie-geebies right now and am imagining ticks all over me. ick ick ick. poor puppy. i’ll have to ask that they check her for any more… we’ve taken a lot of walks lately.
