tired…
my plans for sleep didn’t happen once again, but that is okay.
when i made be rounds before bed i saw there was a lot of wet poo mashed on the roof of bunny’s cubby house (she likes to lay on the roof). i checked her bum and it was an even bigger mess. i was pretty sure it was from hairballs since she had the same thing happen two years ago, but she needed her bumbum treated. i called the vet and got the latest appointment i could for her vet – got a 6pm one.
i had trouble sleeping again. danny barely slept at all which added to my tossing and turning. i got about 2 or 3 hours total again and woke up before my alarm.
the vet appointment went well. bunny behaved herself and didn’t grunt at them (at least while she was with me). after her exam they took her back to wash and shave her tush. and i requested a nail clip since she gets a “good bunny discount” for it there. i guessed $80 would be the total (exam + cleaning & treating her bum + nail clip)… i was close – it was $88 since she was given a tube of ointment as well for $15. thank you to kaos76k for buying the lifetime membership last night – that paid for most of bun’s trip today.
i think i am way beyond the point of being able to go back to sleep right now. perhaps i can get a nap in as a work break around 3am. i’m not sure if i want to start working right now or wait till i’ve had dinner and danny has headed in to work.
this week has been going fast.
