not a very exciting week so far – i’ve just been doing web site work and chores. danny will be going to san antonio again next week for shift leader training/work. i taped the miss usa pagaent mostly so i could see the little clips about where danny would be/had been. tonight danny went to a bar after work, so i just worked till he came home and then made us dinner at 10pm.
last night between 2:30 and 3:00 i heard loud planes going overhead almost continually. we do live by an airport so we hear them sometimes, but it doesn’t normally sound like a parade of lawnmovers on the roof. it was enough to make me turn on cnn for a minute to make sure the world wasn’t ending.
on sunday i went with danny to a pool hall to meet up with some of his coworkers. they were nice and let me play pool with them even though i am really bad at it. it was free on sundays from 4-7pm. we switched to darts later and i like that much better. they were letting me take double turns since i was new to it and it really helped me get better at throwing. i would enjoy going out with them again. i didn’t go meet them tonight though, because i don’t want to be some lame clingy wife that is always hanging around his friends.
since danny will be away next week from tuesday through saturday, i may go out to the club again. that is, i will if anyone wants to come get my out-of-the-way ass.
