today my morning was free so i did chores and some home improvement involving spackle and paint. still have some more spots to fix, so maybe on friday i’ll do that.
in the afternoon my dad, brother, and sister-in-law came over. that was a great treat! we went to don pablo’s for dinner (as seems to be our tradition). afterwards i went in to michael’s craft store with jody and my brother and dad went to the book store. my dad is sweet and bought him a book then came back and paid for our bill.
i got two skeins of “waterfall” color homespun yarn. it is a light aqua color with aqua and periwinkle in it. shannon – the girl who found my purse – was wearing aqua blue pants when she answered the door. since i know nothing about her and wanted to make her a scarf, i chose that color. it only took about an hour since i did 2-strand hdc with a P hook (for you crochet geeks). sooo soft and long and wonderful! i should make more of these for next winter…
chris and jody stopped in for a while afterwards and they made the animals very happy by playing with them for a bit. didi especially likes men and that made her day. she misses danny a lot. i miss my boy…
i go back into DC tomorrow afternoon. i will weld my purse to my skull. yes.
