i’m sure most of you have heard about the space shuttle. They lost contact with the crew and it broke up on reentry. how horrible for everyone involved…
i was in elementry school during the challenger explosion. we used to watch the news at dinner and i remember them playing interviews of the teacher’s students (who were around my age i think). some were worried she wouldn’t come back – so was i… it seemed so scarey. when it blew up, our school brought each grade into the media center for an assembly with videos of what hapened. it was pretty awful. it is hard for kids to wrap their brains around such a tragedy.
my heart goes out to the familys of the crew on board todays shuttle.
