on thursday i have an interview with a creative temp agency in d.c… interviews are always a good thing dispite the outcome, because it is one more interview to add to my experiences. hopefully my skillset will match up with the kind of projects they manage. danny recommends that i wear a suit – be it pants or a skirt set… unfortunaly my old one is no longer nice enough to wear. my seat belt chewed up a patch of fabric on one leg and animal nails made a few pulls elsewhere. so i need to find something else in my size.
i am currently eating brown rice and lentils for lunch. last night we made rice crispy treats! i hadn’t made those before.
i’ve taken care of the first thing on today’s to-do list, which was go to kohls and see if they have suits in my size. no luck there, but i did fond a $6 small black purse which should work out well with my portfolio. after i finish eating lunch i will be doing laundry and site work. i’ve already started contacting my references so i can get my resume completely up to date. tonight we are braving the maul to see if i can find anything there.
