yesterday i rushed to get our christmas photo finished since i though i’d be ordering from my normal photo place and their sale was ending. i ended up using a competetor for half the price, so hopefully their quality is good too. i had fun picking out which cheesy christmas border we were going to order, though i think danny would have rather been doing something else, heh. for the photo i wanted a picture of the dogs wearing antlers and a santa hat. easier said than done! treats or not, nothing could convince them to keep their hats on. in less then 5 seconds they’d be in their mouths. so i got them to just lay there without hats and smile beautiful for me. i took separate photos of the hats. using my photoshop voodoo i dressed the puppies and ended up taking out the background (the carpet just looked bad as a background). put in so much effort i decided it would be the december desktop pic. ahhh cuteness!

i got to go to lunch with danny and two of our friends yesterday. that was a nice change. i ate salad and hummus, mmm. besides working on the christmas photo, i worked, read a bit, and ate a yummy dinner of potatoes and peppers cooked by chief danny. good thing i married someone who used to teach cooking as my cooking skills amount to the ability to read the back of the box.
four pennies managed to sneak into the jar – damn you pennies! you are welcome to check my math – the monitor displays the amount you get after they take out a fee so i edited it back up to the real total. i have decided to give the closest three guessers prizes. the winners are:
