i am doing much better – thank you for all the get-well wishes. this weekend my fever finally left (except when i overdid it). i was able to do a lot of errands that were dellayed all week. i have been coughing up many lung cookies. my voice has returned and is just kinda low and scratchy. now, i am actually glad my girrlie-time came in the worse of my cold. it is less to worry about now as i heal and try to catch up this week.
tonight i got the august gallery finished. i did it in the new gallery database, so it took a while. first i had to add the existing 180-ish pictures, then i had to add all the new ones, for a total of 344. members can visit it here. i haven’t linked it in anywhere yet, because i have a brand new navigation frame but it is all for the new gallery and i still have 17,000 pictures to move over to it. aaahhhhjkfesjkhrghjrg!!?! it takes a long time because i am recording a lot more information – i can’t just write a script to import them. it will take forever. i just wantto be done. it is hard to do anything new to the site till it is all set up up in the new system. i thank you guys for your patience though! i am thinking of creating all the empy galleries and linking to the new system before i get everything up. i can add a link to the old gallery so you can see the pictures i haven’t gotten to yet. that will be a little easier on me i think.
i think i want to go take a bath and read for a bit. i want to try to get up nice and early since i have work to catch up on.
a friend is going to take pictures of me in a week. any requests/idea? also, anyone in the md/dc/va area who enjoys taking pictures, i am always open to modeling for new photographers. i can’t pay anyone, but i can give you a lifetime pass to my site, heh. woohoo. better than cash. or something.
