full of simple pleasures…
three good things about today:
1. i got a job lead on a 2 month contract. it is good when you have contacts for a job opening… it seems lately there is really no hope otherwise. Sent off a cover letter and resume right after lunch, and early this evening got a phone message back. so i have to return that call tomorrow during business hours. i am just pleased that i got acknowledged regardless if i get the job.
2. danny remembered that my little 3″ long macally jr mouse (i have tinyhands) was dieing. it’s been so frustraiting trying to select detailed graphics when your mouse keeps sticking. well, he came home today with the macally jr optical version! still 3″ long, just slightly wider. it has a scrolly thinger and it lights up like sneakers when you move it.
3. danny says we are going to chinese buffet tonight with our neighbor right NOW. that means noooodles for me!
