at the beach…
here in nag’s head, nc!
so, we’ve been here in nag’s head, nc since friday late afternoon. danny, me, and our trip mascot tux the linux penguin. hehe. this will just be a quickie post – ima write everyhthing up in a nice diary entry.
after we checked in to our ghetto-fabulous hotel, we took a walk on the beach, picking shells. we ate mexican food for dinner. we watched some fireworks from in bed – someone was shooting them off from the beach.
today we went to jockey’s ridge right when it opened at 8am. it was empty except for a handful of people with a hang glider. it is the huge dune i am on in the picture above. then we visited two lighthouses – bodie and hattaras. the drive back from hatteras made me sleeeeepy. i cropped some pictures from my camera then took a nap till 4:30pm.
a little after 5pm we met gikiski down in the lobby. he was super sweet to drive all that way to hang out with us. we took a walk down to a candy shop for saltwater taffy. we had yummy chinese food for dinner then played minigolf. i won! we ate ice cream at fat cat then parted ways.
tomorrow we plan to get pancakes for breakfast, then check out. we are goning to go to the aquarium, then probably head back home to virginia. and it will be my birthday! i’ll turn 26 at 5:23am… see you all online tomorrow night! stop by chat and say hi when i get home! 🙂
