groggy…
off falling asleep. i am tired of being tired.
my weekend wasn’t too exciting. on saturday we went to the vet witht he dogs. they both have allergies and are to take allergy meds now to see if it helps. our friend roj came over in the evening. he put up with me putting animal ears on him and we made silly plastic bead necklaces together.
on sunday we stopped by the airport and said hi to danny’s cousin. he is in d.c. with his 8th grade class (private jewish school i think) on a trip. they had to run so we said we’d meet him in arlington at the restaurant they were going to that night. we did, and it was like my idea of hell. well over 100 students crammed into half a small restaurant getting buffet food and wondering who they hell we were. too many people and too much noise of me.
we ended up just giving him our phone number and fleeing (mostly for the sake of my sanity – i was close to diving out a window). instead danny treated me to food at my favorite italian place in alexandria. we had had our “rehersal” dinner there before we married. i had gnocchi and some chocolate mousse. my tummy started to hurt at the end and i had to run for the bathroom when we got home. i’m not sure what made me sick. they told me last time there was no cheese in their gnocchis…
i took a hot bath afterwards which made me feel all better. i chatted and we stayed up too late.
today i’ve just done work designing a site for a new client. i sent off a test sample to my project manager but havn’t heard back. i am falling asleep – not sure why.
i will probably to a cam show tonight, but i’m not sure what or when. hopefully dinner will wake me up more so i can think.
