busy…
we’ve been busy. last night we went to ikea. we needed a tv cart thing and they had an unfinished one for $60. the ikea was huge and shiney and new. we were good and got what we wanted then left. i did have to stop and have my picture taken in the little ikea house. hee.
today i got more braids done (and i guess i should do a few more now). i am down to 32 left. erg. danny has been building me an inexpensive peecee all weekend. it will go in the kitchen to replace two of the cams. you may have notice they’ve been off. we had to go out and get it a new hard drive cause his spare parts one was dead, jim. i went into michael’s while he did that. i got another booklet on crochet and 2 skeins of yarn. i’ve got my dad’s xmas afgan planned out. i just need to find the other color of yarn next time i go back.
um, i stained the teevee stand bits (well, peecee stand really), then learned how to crochet “clusters”. dan had to run to best buy when he realized he didn’t have a spare mouse. oops! afterwards danny anounced he was treating me to spicey n00dles for dinner! yum!
now danny is going down to build the cart. afterwards i shall shave his head, put a bit of dye on my roots ($3 off, woo!), bathe the dogs, shower with the boy (aw, yeah), and wind down for the night.
tomorrow i am off to d.c. for the morning. i have a meeting at work at 9am. early for me! does anyone work around georgetown? want to do lunch? otherwise i’ll just metro back home afterwards.
