tired…
last night sucked. well, not all of it i guess. the beginning was nice.
i cooked us mexican food for dinner. after i cleaned up i baked a chocolate chip cake. yum! then i headed upstair to read in bed, but danny made us a bubble bath with candles and inscense first. we risned the bubble bath off in the shower and took care of important husband and wife things. then i brushed my teeth and got into bed. it was around midnight.
i read in bed till around 1 when danny was done watching the cosby show and truned off the tv to go to sleep. i put down my book to go to sleep but then suddenly was wide awake and hot. i got up and turned on the fan and tried to fall asleep for a while but my brain wouldn’t shut off and i was getting more awake by the minute. i picked up my book and read the end.
i tried again for sleep. but it didn’t work out, so i picked up the next book in the series and read the first 106 pages. i still couldn’t sleep after that. i had to get up and pee since i had already been in bed for 5 hours wide awake. i came back to bed and curled up in the middle – with my head on danny’s chest and my arm around poo dog. i scratched her head for a while then realized it was getting light out. i think that finally convinced my body it should go to sleep. so around 6am i drifted off.
the puppy had to pee bad by 11am so i had to get up then. she is sound asleep now. it figures. i feel tired and confused. i hate this. i think next time i go through this i will take some allergy meds. they would clear up my nose and lungs and knock me the fuck out. my body can’t stay awake while medicated. *sigh*.
it is friday and i am very glad that my danny will be home for two days straight!
