well today turned out busier than i had expected. the beginning was normal – feeding animals, showering, working, ran errands and got that wrong michaels.com order returned for some yarn and hooks… when we got home from errands i did a bit more work and talked to my boss, then we hopped into the car for a planned-at-the-last-minute family dinner.
we went to don pablos (of course – we always eat there with my family, hehe). i got veggie fajitas because it is the least complex thing for me to order. they were yummy but they gave me way too much. afterwards we stopped at my dad’s house. i got my rollar skates from my old room, the first three books in “the ship who sang” series that i’ve been wanting to re-read, and a stack of my old towels (muppets!) that he cleaned out of the linen closet. i can use them when i bathe the doogies.
after we got home, i fed the dogs dinner and made a very feeble attempt at a granny square. crochet is soo not my bitch yet.
everyone must go to my brother’s new site and watch the “major tom” video he made with puppets. it will rock your socks off, i say!
i gave up on the crochet for the night. it will be a while before i can do my afghan. i just got myself some ice cream and i think i’ll do some more work before bed. i have two deadlines for c.o.b. tomorrow.
