we put leashes on the girls and headed out towards to nearby pet store for a walk in this beautiful low 70°s weather.
our vet was on the way, so we stopped in th ask about stimpy. i gave the girls water from their water cooler.
they brought stimpy into an exam room and i held the dogs while danny visited. i took a quick turn after him.
i can’t remember the lat time i saw him so happy. he has had the opreration. his bum was shaved and looking raw, but the stitches had come out. he was rubbing up against everything a purring. the vet tech said everyone is in love with him, but of course most people that work there already have at least one cat. he needs to be the only cat to stay happy and stress-free. she said there was one guy they were trying to convince. it made me very happy to see him so content.
we thanked them and walked on to the pet store. i think everyone went on break when we got there so we didn’t get crickets. we headed towards home, stopping so danny could get us drinks from a gas station.
we were sure that china was going to be the p00per of this walk (they prefer to wait and poo in the backyard after walks, but if its a long walk…). her butt was low and she kept heading for the grass. but didi surprised us so i got to carry the bag’0’poo home. at least we were already in the final stretch.
