i’ve been spending a lot of free time lately copying my livejournal over to a mysql database on my own servers. yes, the same project i started 6 months ago.
well i have all 2201 entries in it. now all that is left is to finish copying the 10 billion comments over. so far i have the beginning through mid-july 2000 commented, and the past week is commented.
i am going to make my personal version live now i think. eventually i am going to turn off comments in my lj and put in a link after each entry to where you can comment on my site. hopefully you all will still visit me with your feedback. for now, i can’t turn off lj comments or else i wouldn’t be able to see them to copy them. so try to comment through the link i supply – even though for a while the normal lj comment link will still be there.
and feel free to let me know if you find bugs. i am still learning php and still making major changes to these scripts every night.
tomorrow night we have am appointment to have our taxes done. i have no clue how that will go since this is our first year filing jointly.
i think i am doing a show sometime this weekend but i haven’t decided when. something cute and sexyish because i need some new pictures to submit to a website that will be featuring me.
i am craving some sort of (nonalcoholic) fruity frozen beverage. where does one get that sort of thing?
oh and, i need some friends. anyone in the nova area need a silly friend with a month-old weave? i can do tricks!
