getting back to work…
went to my eye appointment… everything looked good, though i moved back up a step in my prescription. so i ordered new contacts. they have improved them since my last batch and they are soo much nicer. it is always amazing when you don’t realize your prescription has changed, then you put in the new contacts and suddenly the world is so *crisp*…
they took photos of my retnas for my file. the doctor let me borrow them to scan. i need to bring them back when i pick up my contacts. the appointment + supply of contacts hurt my visa, but at least it will last a real long time. especially since i wear each pair of one-day contacts for 2 weeks. and i got five free pairs. r0ck on.
i haven’t gotten the glasses yet. i need to either go to pearle vision or sears, neither of which were in the mall my eye doctor is in. i have coupons for $99 glasses for both of those places. i guess i need to do that sometime soon. in the meantime, you can still vote for the glasses styles you like on me.
i started my monthly rebraiding last night. i got through 25 braids at the base of my neck. 95 to go! erf. i must catch up on work now. should i brave the mall tonight to go to sears to look at glasses, or should i wait till later this week?

the concept behind “one day” contacts is overrated. As long as you don’t leave them in overnight, and clean them every night, a pair can last over a month, easy…
