stephanie is: working working…

just doing work today. i have a lot of little things to do for a bunch of clients. i need to set up a meeting this week with them. they want me to consider taking equity in the company to solidify my working with them.

around lunchtime we ran errands… bank and what not. while danny was talking to a guy in the petstore about fish, i took little pictures with the small crap camera built into my mp3 player.

i decided to do a camshow at 11pm tonight…

  1. photos are so cute, and that petstore looks so familiar too… I wonder if its one of the local petstores owned by one of my friends.

  2. for a crap camera

for a crap MP3 player it takes pretty decent piont and shoot pics. course the subject matter makes all the difference

    • i didn’t ask where the puppies are from. so i am sorry if i disgust you for giving some hugs and kisses to a few puppies that havn’t done anything wrong.

      • puhlease…

I’m not criticizing the puppies or you for taking pictures of the puppiesfor God’s sake, I’m just surprised that someone who seems to love animals would even consider giving her money to pet store that exacerbates the problems that pet adoption groups and shelters work so hard to alleviate. Seems like a smart girl like you would check something like that out first.

I don’t know how it is where Stephanie is, but in Southern California it’s hard to find a pet store that associates with puppy mills, they just refuse to get puppies from them.

actually, no matter what state you are in, responsible, ethical and humane breeders DO NOT sell puppies to puppy stores. if that’s what people need to tell themselves to continue to shop there, that’s fine. but it’s not the truth.

there is even a link there where you can research where your pet shop puppy came from. yes, even “pedigree” dogs bought at pet shops can be traced back to their puppy mill parents.

the only way to stop the horrible abuse at puppy mills is to not buy pet shop puppies! if everyone who shops in a pet store that sells these puppies tells the owner that they are taking their business elsewhere and why, maybe that will help.

      • *rolls eyes* we get people like that in our store from time to time. luckily i’m in the back and i don’t deal with human kind. *shivers* πŸ˜‰

we just got in lots of new puppies you would go crazy over, stephanie. ^o^ i need to start taking my camera with me..

  3. Job Stuff

The fact that they want you that much is a good sign and offers some opportunity.

A couple of notes from experience:
Don’t swing at the first pitch. Even if you wind up taking the first offer, hold the answer for 24hrs.

Make sure the equity they offer does not reduce your current rates with them. It should be more like a raise

With your current situation, try to get them to give you a minimum gurantee. Not a salary per-se just a minimum that you will make regardless of the hours they use you.

    Just some thoughts…
