I was terrible with oil paints- could never seem to get them to go on smoothly.
mostly from a photo, but it was cropped tight so i had to keep calling her over to paint the rest, hehe

Have you considered doing oil paintings as a side business? I’d gladly pay you to do a couple of my babies. I miss having them with me and would love a good portrait.
perhaps when i get a bit better – i am still learning.
