stephanie is: tired…

well, we made it!

we took a taxi at 4am (after being up since 12pm the day before) to the airport. the line to check bags was typical. the security line was longer… they had us take off coats, and remove electronic devices from bags, but it all went though the scanner anyway. they were doing random searches during boarding but we didn’t get picked on either flight. we boarded at 5:30am i think. the seats were so uncomfortable i just couldn’t get any sleep. i got a few pretty pictures of sunrise above the clouds.

we got dropped off at the wrong terminal for our connecting flight at dallas/for worth airport. it wasn’t a long walk though. taking off was tedious. we waited a half our for our turn to take off when the captain annouced that the plane behind us noticed a hatch open on our plane so we had to taxi back and have it closed. gah. it was all i could do to stay awake though takeoff. i was feeling quite comotose. once we were in the air i laid down (well leaned over) onto danny’s lap and napped till my feet fell completely asleep from the funky position i was in. i colored in a powerpuff girls coloring book till we landed.

their grampa was there to pick us up. we came back to their beautious house to drop off our stuff and then we went to eat at a mexican restaurant that danny and mark picked out. yey for california guacamole!! then we headed to sam’s club as the needed a few things and they had us pick ou a few groceries. easy mac, mm. they had the most amazing back massager wand – we all feel in love so danny’s gramma got one for her and one for me as an early christmas present. i took silly movie clips that i will upload when we get home for the trip (i will be pushing the dialup as it is by uploading member photos – or trying to at least.)

i almost fell asleep on the ride home, now suddenly i can’t nap though i tried. danny is fast asleep.

i never did post a photo of the elephant cross stitch i designed for danny’s gramma. it turns out the burgandy mat i chose matches all the burgandy in her house. and of course her massive elephant collection.

that is all for now! i am going to try to dial up and check email and upload all this nonsense. I MISS MY PUPPIES!! take good care of them ivan! you too moosie!
