stephanie is: groggy…
damn. don’t you hate when your computer freezes mid-typing? grr!
so it looks as though we may have found two good friends to split the house sitting days so i may get to go with danny to his family thanksgiving after all. we are very lucky that they are willing to pay for our tickets. i know it means a lot to dan and mark since their entire family is out there.
i’ve decided that ima do fresh braids before we go. i love them, they are easy to maintain in a busy house with little bathroom time, and they have the danny seal of approval. that is hard to come by since he usually thinks i dress like a goober, hehe.pfft – i just have my own tastes. anyway my current braids will be officially skanky in another week or two so they need to come out around then. i shed mad amounts of hair everyday and it needs to be combed and washed out from where it is trapped in the braids. i’ll give my hair a breather then hide it back in its braids again. it has been a great hairdo for hiding the huge missing chunk of hair in the back. i just need to make sure i start re-braiding soon enough to finish for the trip.
i am eating a few mini chocolate bars then heading to bed. i am all showered and clean. i had to wash my hair good cause i had a mad case of the itchies.
yay! you will have a fun trip. california is loverly.. but of course I am biased.
*Snicker* California is awesome 😛
Where in Cali are these familymembers? North? South?
I’m a San Diego Girl, m’self.
THis is silly but I didn’t know you could wash your hair when it’s in braids without them coming sorta loose :>
And how is it to sleep in?
to wash my hair i dilute shampoo, pour it over my head and gently soap up my scalp. then i rinse rinse rinse.
the braids don’t come out from washing – just from gravity slowing pulling them down my slick straight hair.
they aren’t the most comfortable things to sleep on, but i’ve gotten used to it and i finally found a hair style that keeps them out of my face and isn’t a giant lump behind my head.
