india’s doctor wants us to try to keep the ear tubes in 3 weeks. that means three weeks in the cone so she doesn’t pull them out on her own. i have been stressing all night/day that they have fallen out. i keep having to check.

the stylish “earrings”
showing off the latest in cone fashions
so what are we doing this weekend (besides working)?
doggy mom
It’s tough when one of the pugs has surgery or and injury that needs dr. pugmom. LOL. I know what you are going through. It can be nervewrecking. As for my weekend it’s getting the gardens prepared for the long winter ahead, and of course what most of my weekends consist of, housework. ๐
awww:(
now that is one stylin poochie ๐
At least the cones are clear now!
Last time I saw a cone on a pet, they were that opaque white color.
i know! one of our cat’s had to have one of those icky things and it was all white then..i never knew there were clear ones now..i felt so bad for her..heh..
Poor Thing…
I duck into her cone and give her a kiss…
and one big belly scratch…
Hope she’s on drugs…

Re: Poor Thing…
she isn’t on drugs – her ears didn’t even hurt her when they were huge and full of fluid. but she does hate the cone ๐
Poor baby!
I just hate it when an animal is in pain, especially a young one. Their life at that age should be nothing more than bouncing, playing, learning and love.
she’s not in pain – she just hates the cone collar and scratches at it…
India is truley adorable! I have a weakness for chow mixes, my mom has one. I’m in the Veterinary field, and have always wondered how well the cannulas’ work (we have never used them, we always drain the ear and then suture the heck out of it!) This seems much less uncomfortable. I’ll be interested to hear how the next few weeks go with her ears:o)
she isn’t chow at all – though our other dog is half chow. india is shar-pei/rotti/shepard. shar-peis and spotted or black tongues as well…
