in eye pain…
so my cold is gone and my period is gone – and i was finally looking forward to feeling healthy. now my stupid eye feels like someone punched it. just like it did before i got my first sty a couple months ago. and it hurts in the same damn place. grr! what can i do to stop it from going past the pain stage? there isn’t any redness or swelling yet… it just feels like i’ve been poked with a sharp stick. lame.

I had a stye in my left eye once. Hurt like hell it did a few days even before it swelled half shut on me. Ended up going to DR to get it cured. For pain take the strongest pain pills ya can.
hmm… I would think there could be something to stop it…maybe there is something in your eye that is causing that to happen again…
i guess ask a Dr… maybe there is some kind of topical med you could put on it… or they could lance it or something before it pops?
::shudders:: lol. I just grossed myself out- things popping on eyelids! eek!
I would say try ice for now but unsure if ice is safe near eyeballs.
Eye Pain
I know this sounds kinda freaky, but if you make a cup of cold chamomile (sp?) tea and then soak a washcloth in it and make a compress it should keep it from getting any worse. I’ve tried this in the past. It makes the pain go away and if the sty is just developing it’ll probably make it go away sooner.

Isn’t it ironic? Lovely Stephie who is so easy on the eyes is having eye pain. So sorry Punquin.
