ahhh good. i now have two more contract sites to design monday-wednesday so i will have some money coming in. starting out in freelance it tough because it is hard building up a network of referrals and doing the marketing. so i am grateful to have projects contracted out to me that i don’t have to hunt for or manage.
while my checking account may be down to a few hundred, i DID put $500 into my savings account this past month instead of taking money out to cover bills. and i would have a more normal amount in checking, but we are still recovering from the big dump our isp took on us (not billing us for 2 months then sending a bill for a huge amount, grr). so i am fine. i have another check coming soon for contract work and guaranteed hours for this week. we are out of food and have to spend a hundred or two on groceries this weekend, bleh. but we have to eat. i am out of ramen! oh no! hehe
