ugh! this is just not my week… i had noticed bun didn’t eat her food yesterday except for a little bit of hay. now i just noticed she didn’t eat last night’s food either. i examined her and she has a big mess on her tush *worry worry*. the bunny handbook i have say to take bunnys to the vet when they have poopoo problems (and that is how one of my bunnies died once – within hours of getting diarea from a digestive disorder) so i just made yet another vet appointment. how much does a bunny appointment cost? ah well, payday is soon and my credit card is taken care of till next month so i am fine…

i am glad your bunny has such a loving owner who notices problems right away. as a rabbit owner, i send you and your bunny my love.. it is so hard when a pet is sick.
it could very likely be a hairball – you mentioned that your house is very hot right now, and he/she is probably trying to drop a lot of hair. if the vet appt. is still some time away, you may want to try giving your bun papaya enzyme tablets (available at some pet stores).. it dissolves food surrounding hairballs and allows them to pass more easily. it is good as a daily supplement to the diet.. that and constant brushing..
