i stayed up last night doing some work that was going to be due first thing in the morning. i didn’t get to bed till after 3am – but i actually wasn’t really tired (even though i had only got 3 hours of sleep the night before). i got up at 7am and i am a bit tired, but nothing big… i can take a nap in the late afternoon or evening.
i got up and took simba to the vet all on my own. the vet is rediculusly close, but i am a big wuss so i was proud of myself for driving there with no wrong turns and talking to the people there without being nervous. they will be doing a lion clip on him since he is a big himalayan fluffmonster. hopefully they will be able to do it without sedating him, but he’s not to big on strangers or clippers, so i doubt it. it looks like he is all caught up wit his shots, but they will do a quick exam anyway.
last night, danny and i went out and bought a ceiling fan for the bedroom since it had gotten up to 90° in there. he ran a lamp on an extention cord and installed it at 11 at night. it helped so much to have the fan and the windows open. i bet he’ll be trying the a/c again later today and calling the people who can fix it if it is still dead. for now i am enjoying the breeze from outside before it gets too hot.
