z z z i am sleepy. we only got 4 hours of sleep last night. we were sucked into the mtv “undressed” abyss. then i sorta kept danny up for a while longer but he didn’t mind.
so there may be a chance that my site will be up in full within a few weeks. i don’t want to jinx it by saying stuff though, hehe. there is t1 stuff on the back of our building now and our new provider mentioned a date but it was during when we’ll be in cancun. so we’ll see.
i have loads of work to do to the site still, but i am back to not being able to ftp. danny had fixed it but the default settings were still worng so a power outage sent it back to being broken. unix will eat me if i try to upload complicated folders for files again. it likes me
leaving for the mall in a little while. lunch, buying a silly welcome giftie for hollybear, and eye appointment.
I have heard of so many evil tales of people trying to get various DSL and T1 lines installed. Photoboy had a wonderful time trying to get DSL. After hearing all of your tales, I decided just to go with teh cable modem. Not as fast, but it was installed 3 days after I called.

dang! three days for a cable modem? Here you go to the cable company they give you the modem and the software and thats all that is done…
Well, they come out and set up the cable line (test and split), and give us the modem. We have to configure it ourselves, or we can get the “premium” install which is like $100. But it’s easy to do it yourself.
Oh…. let it be real…
