yeyey! i finally got my channel reregistered – bot and all on the undernet.! i had to wait in a moderated channel all morning for my turn at having an ircop handle my case. i set a sound of bubbles yelling “WAKEUP!!” to play everytime the next person was given the ability to speak, so i could pause in my work and check to see if it was me. took about 2 or so hours. oof.
a massive d.o.s. attack nearly caused them the shut down over the past few months, but they have been working on a new system which is just being started. so hopefully it will get easier and easier for you all to connect to my chat again. i have not looked at my chat html in a while but i will check it tonight or something to see if it is working.

Gogo boots…
Hey, Stephanie… I read your page frequently, and I see you’re still on the lookout for the white go-go boots for your wedding (which is just too fun!).
You might have checked on eBay already, but I found some for you… I am assuming you wear between a size four and six (since we’re about the same size).
These are a little bondage-esque, but they’re kinda fun. And tall!

There were some silver ones and rhinestones and stuff like that, but I’m sure you probably want white. 🙂

Ok you don’t know me.. I only know of you because you’re an LJ “friend” of a good friend of mine, Blu.
I run Undernet’s Channel Service, and also it’s webpage. It’s my name and nick at the bottom of every page on cservice.undernet.org, I wrote the signup thing on the web, I’m an IRC Op, etc, etc. Basically, I know what I’m talking about on this subject 🙂
We’re very pleased to get it up and running again after nearly 2 months down. In the first 48 hours, we had 26000 users sign up. The load almost killed our webserver and DB servers. I don’t know if you or anyone reading this knows about unix systems.. but the web server hit a load average of 140 and the DB server hit 197. On unix systems, a load average of 2 is bad. We have it sorted out now and all is well, but it was touch and go for a while.
Anyway.. if you or anyone reading this needs help with anything on Undernet, /msg LGM and say you saw me say this in a livejournal comment and I’ll jump to it if I’m around.
