stephanie is: at work.
monday. hrmph. so they changed the snow forcast AGAIN. now we are going to get like 1″. ppfft. so i drove here in snow flurries. hopefully the drive home won’t be too bad from bad drivers.
i have a list of things i need to get done soon. many of the things aren’t that exciting and aren’t worth mentioning. one of the biggest things is that i need to finish making my wedding dress fit and get shoes and stockings for it.
the other is that it is time for me to get my perscription checked. i don’t feel up to making an appointment with my eye doctor back in MD (who i really like and knows how to treat the corneal opacities i get from some contact solutions) and have to take off work and stuff. so i might just go to the lens crafters doctor. i went there once before in high school when i was having troubles with headaches and focusing and they gave me bifocals that i was very happy with. i think my dad was a little concerned that they just wanted me to buy more pricey glasses (could have been) cause the next time i went to my eye doctor they took me off bifocals. well now my problem is much worse. i am at the computer all day and have trouble reading the screen and get headaches from it if i leave my glasses on for a while. so all day long i am taking them off and on and it is driving me nutz0r! people walk in to talk to me about stuff and don’t realize i can’t see them till i fumble around for my glasses again. and i have had the beginnings of migraines that have gone away by taking my glasses off at my my computer. hmm. i just need to get everything checked out. i need to make sure they check my far and close vision – they seem to not like to check my close vision at the doctor’s office – i guess cause i am young. do you need an appointment to go to a lens crafter’s doctor? i’d like to take care of it soon to see if i need new lenses in my glasses cause i am tired of eye-related headaches.

How about lasic (sp) for your eyes? Everyone I know who did it swears by it.
eehhh i am still a little ooged out at the thought of that… it is a little too clockwork-orange-eyes-held-open for me… plus my eyes have yet to stableize enough.
i dunno. every eye doctor i have gone to (and i’ve gone to many around the country) checks my near vision. it’s a good thing, too, because my perfect vision without glasses is about 3 inches in front of my nose. they all do slightly different tests with many machines, though.
