dangnabbit! why can’t i find a studio easel like this that isn’t a million bazillion dollars? even on ebay they are too $$. i just want one in a light colored wood, canvas capacity of at least 48″, and floor – not tabletop model. ah well. it’s not like you NEED an easel to paint – just a canvas and paints. i shall have to be crafty when i start on my painting this week. i’ll find something to prop it up on…
ebay. i found yesterday a person on ebay with no html skills, on AOL, who is selling a picasso sketch. gah!
I like your LJ pic! I can’t explain why but for some reason I just like it. Very minimalist…
my p made me an easel when i was a kid really easily. three long boards held together at the top with a screw and washers or something. one horizontal board to rest the painting on across the front to legs and a strap stapled to the back of that horizontal board and the back leg so it doesn’t do the splits.
psst! i know what you are getting for your birthday! neener!
geezus, did pb just go around and tell everyone just to drive me insane??
yup!
“Make sure you let ee know that you know what it is but don’t tell her. hehehe”
:b
have you tried ikea? i’ve seen easels at the one here in moscow and very reasonable on price. i think they have basically the same stock worldwide?
hmmm i can’t remember if i saw easels there or not….
they keep them in the kids section with the crayons and giant paper rolls and the fingerpaints and hand puppets.
not that i’d know, of course. i only heard about it. 😉
ikea easel
i bought an easel there last summer… it’s not too bad, and it didn’t cost much $$
What if I made you this!
sweet jeebus it’s huge! hehe
if only I had a nickel for every time I heard that!
heh
bahaha
I have the Neosho Caribou Easel (the cheaper one) and the quality is awesome, i could probably throw the thing out the window and it’d still be okay

cheaper one? eeeeepp!!!! *flies come out of pockets* hehe
man, i bought a travel foldup one (of course it’s still like 6 feet tall, that doesnt fold) for like $45 off of ebay, it was really wobbly until i put cement around it on the feet 😉 *evil snickers*
bahaha 🙂 My first one was 75ish i think, and it did the same thing. you had to put little sugar packets under the corners. hehe. 🙂 my paintings had um… inspriation or… something.
haha the crazy things artists do…. we should all get together and write a book about that!!!!
