last night we had to go to the mall to pick up danny’s re-sized wedding band. it looks great. it has a pattern engraved on it and you can’t even tell that it had to be sized. i got into bed at 10 and went to sleep at 11pm. i was pretty wiped out from the tail end of this flu. all i have now is weezing and coughing. bleh!

today i managed to sleep in till 10:30am because danny took china out on some errands. then we went out to get his allergy meds, some more paper for wedding invites, and clothes. yey clothes! we went to kohls – everything was an additional 50% off. i love that store! i am now the proud owner of three new pairs of shorts. and i KNOW i have an olive green pair of cargo shorts somewhere, but i’ll have to look around. so that makes 4 pairs. i also got cute green pants for $10, a sage green sweater from the girls department for $10, and a grey 3/4 sleeve shirt. danny got jeans, a shirt, socks, shorts, and some swim trunks. wooo clothes! cost us nearly $200 – i paid since i have only given danny $500 towards the honeymoon trip so far. i think we did pretty damn good.

i have to work on wedding invitations some more now. at least there are only about 20-ish. i have to try to write pretty on the envelopes. i made sure i had twice as many as i needed cause i KNOW i will mess up.

i think later we are stopping by a friend’s party since she lives very near by.

  1. They size patterned wedding bands by either stretching them up on a graduated metal rod called a mandrel or by squeezing them down in a press with different sized cone shaped holes. For rings with no pattern the usually cut them and add or remove a piece to make it the right size and then weld the edges back together and then file, sand and polish it back to its original shine. Let me know if you ever have jewelry questions, it is my specialty.
