our powder room has shiney gold fixtures, blue and ecru towels, and a star theme. i’ve been looked for a good picture in a gold frame to put on the blank walls in there, but i’ve had no luck. i just found a picture that would be perfect for in there.. but is is $63.00!!! iiieeee! um, no!
Once you get your T1 you could just download pics and hang them on your wall.

I am not sure if I like that you submitted your emoticons (the little purplish colored ones) to LJ. I will see one and think “yay, another punquin post!” but then I find that it is someone else. I got used to them being only on your pages.

the actual starry night print is only $13… the framing is what costs $$$. i loooove that painting. i even painted it on one of my monitors.
Yeah but I would probably never find one of them here in alabama where I am unless it was on the internet. I would pay it most likely. Have you tried to get the print somewhere else without a frame?? That might be better, cause that is sure an expensive frame. That is probably why i like it so much. My taste in thing usually go for the crap rolled in dough$. LOL
I saw the original painting at an exhibit in Toronto a few years ago. It literally took my breath away!
Filling the white space
Steph, go to Ikea (if you can stand it) in Potomac Mills – they have hundreds of inexpensive posters of masterworks (some aren’t framed, but even the frames are cheap). I’m sure you’ll find Starry Night. I got a 16 x 20″ Degas sketch of “La Toilet” plus a frame for about $30.

They sell the poster reproductions up in NJ all the time. You can go to any music store that sells posters and find one for anywhere between $7 – $14. Then you could buy your own frame. If I see one and have a few extra bucks on me, I’ll pick it up and mail it to you.

They have thousands of art pictures and this particular one is 20×16 and costs only $10.99 without a frame, but you could find a nice one at a pretty good price.
