stephanie is: at work.
yes yes. the weather is oppressing me. of course it couldn’t snow before or after work so i wouldn’t have to drive in it. noooo. it has to snow right in the middle of the day. bleh! nothing yet, but it is supposed to start soon.
hello to all those who are finding my site again after a month, or to those just finding it for the first time! the site has been down because we are STILL trying to get a high speed internet connection at home so we can plug the servers back in. i just got a temporary site and temporary dns (so the url stvlive.com works again) up. not much content yet, but i will at least add pictures from november and december to tide you over. we are waiting for a t1 to be installed and it should take up to 60 days (yuck!). yes, it is very $$$ but we can’t get anything else besides a dialup, and that is no good when you are a web designer.
um, you can vote for me in some goat contest here. i have no idea what this is, but i am listed as punquin in it.
you make me laugh!

i had no idea what you were talking about. steph in a goat contest! 😀
Have you ever considered taking a driving course. I don’t mean this in a insulting way. I had the opportunity to spend a few days with a professional driver. He taught me several things that have helped in bad weather (both rain and snow). Plus I had the advantage of living in a snowy area when I was first learning to drive. It really helped.
Of course that doesn’t help all the other idiots that don’t know how to drive in the stuff. Take care and stay warm.
faster than dialup, but cheaper than T1
Do you mean to tell me that you can’t get cable or satellite Internet access either?
Those are way cheaper, and of course slower, than a T1; but they should be able to install them a heck of a lot sooner than 60 days from now.
Isn’t Radio Shack selling a satellite solution for people who can’t get DSL or cable? Not that I typically recommend Radio Shack for anything, but this might be a situation that they can help with. Um… although I think they make you buy a PC with the service.
Re: faster than dialup, but cheaper than T1
no cable tv or cable modems. not sure about the sattlite, but i know it won’t work with the direct tv dish we already have.
