herro. i am back at work. the commute was nice! my old commute took over an hour this time of year. this one took under 30 minutes and was 55 speed limit instead of 25. and i didn’t have stop lights and metro buses every two feet! woo! simple pleasures i guess. i just have to figure out home to get home tonight – i am bad at reversing directions and trips. should be just as simple, but it will be in the dark.
everything was frosty white this morning (including my car as danny has claimed the garage). danny still has off today so it was just me getting ready for work. i saw that trash was out at the houses that have been moved into, so i pulled out our big garbage can and a big bag of packing paper i had gone through for the dished.
unpacking is going well, but it takes time. we keep having to waste our time shopping. i just set up my puter last night. i had given danny the assignment of drilling two 2″ cord holes under it so i could have my puter on the floor. it was a bitch to feed all those cords down withe the desk against the wall. but i had to do the two monitors first since their plugs are huge, which meant i couldn’t do the desk away from the wall then move it cause it was too heavy. i got everything through i think.
i have no idea when we are getting our dsl. then haven’t even told us though we put the applications through a couple weeks ago. at this point i think we are waiting for bell satanic to tell us when they will do there quick little part. but since they make no money off it they are taking their sweetass time. bleh. maybe mid december? for now the server is at the old apartment, but we have to officially move out of there by the end of the month. during any down time we may have, you can visit a temporary page at: http://stephanie.innanen.com.
tonight i may do my christmas tree. we have a fake one we bought last year. if i do i might dial up and broadcast it live.
