well i am here at the new place! i am starting to recover from the whole packing/moving thing. we still have tons of unpacking to do. bleh! hehe. but that part is much better than packing. on thursday i was on my feet all day and night packing. the glasses and mugs and dishes were not fun.

i got 2 hours of sleep that night, then was up again packing friday morning. the movers go there and gave me 4 wordrobe boxes to pack all the hanging clothes in. the movers were sooo worth the $900+ we spent on them. we were on the top floor with a tiny elevator so their job wasn’t easy. they got the truck loaded after about 5 or six hours. lotsa stuff. danny had already headed out to the house, so that left me to be the one to “lead” the moving truck to the new house. i had only driven it twice before – and once by myself. i was worried i would get them lost. but i did good. i had to drive sooo sloow sometimes to not loose them. the trip involves three major roads so it is hard to go slow. i lost them once getting off the toll road cause they took longer at their booth and got stuck at a light. i pulled over with my hazards on till i saw the tip top of their truck coming over the hill then i lead them the rest of the way. after a coule more house everything was in the house.

we did some unpacking – danny did the livingroom and was setting up electronics. i put the sheets into the new washing machine but fell asleep on the couch. when i woke, danny said the bed was made. it was after 2am so i crawled to bed. zzz! we got up at 11am when the cable people called that they were on their way soon. i showered, then danny sent me out to get bagels and coffee while they were installing. i felt so brave driving to a shopping center in a strange city all by myself. i’m a big girl! hehe.

i got almost all of the kitchen unpacked. my daddy came out and took us out to dinner. we had mexican at a yummy little place. then danny and i went out for some things at bed, bath, & beyond and home depot. we plan to buy groceries and go to an outlet mall tomorrow.

i had the laptop saving webcampics for most of the day today. i uploaded a few to the november gallery. clic the pic to see!

i miss you all! i’ll be online from work monday-wednesday 9-5, so come visit me in chat then. ima go do some upacking now…
