stephanie is: worried.
ugh ugh ugh. it has been a bad day so far. it was nice having a cd player in my car. the remote that straps to the steering wheel is lame though. it only works if i turn right and let go so my hand isn’t blocking the ir. then it popped off so it is just a scratchy plastic band now. i realized in the car i forgot to bring my webcam to work, so i’ll be stuck with the crappy one all day.
i got to work to find the bunny’s cam was all static. i remotely went into the computer and it said the hardware wasn’t connected. i went through the pictures from when it died and got really worried. it seems that minibun started ramming around her hutch and must have bumped the cam that was up on the telephone beside it. it fell down, then she pulled the usb cord into her cage, and a few minutes later the computer lost the cam’s signal. i am assuming she bit into the cord. can you get electricuted from a usb cord if you are a little bunny? argh! i am freaking out! i shut down that puter as soon as i saw that so that that wire wouldn’t be live. ack argh gah! bah! i don’t want her to choke!
I don’t *think* enough power flows through a USB cable to shock an animal of that size. Most animals will chew a little and then stop once the taste becomes unpalatable (spelling?)…
good luck tho!
Don’t worry…
…the first pet I had, as I was a child, was a rabbit (an albino,
called Caesar (don’t ask)), well it was more the family pet.
We let him run around into the flat, for one or two hours every day.
One day he crawled under my bed, and bite through the cable of
my radioclock… What followed was a realy loud “bang” and
all lights went off.
We thought the bunny must be death.
Wrong, he was happy (only a little shocked) and alive.
But on his back was a large black stripe in his white fur,
where the flash hits him.
Hehehe, after that he had to stay in the cage.
(We use here in Germany 220Volt with a 50Herz frequency)
But I fear, you’ll need a new USB-wire.
What a mischievous little bunny! Wait until you have kids! đŸ™‚
