stephanie is: eating eating.

eating my lunch right now. i walked to mcdonalds. t is really beautiful outside. i wish i could just go home, or drive up into the mountains with danny and look at the leaves changing colors… but no. i am stuck here at work for another 4 hours.

i heard on the news that bush “won” the debate last night. wtf? gore (scary as he is) seemed to not just say “yes, this is a problem” but also would add some possible solutions. bush just seemed to be saying “i am an american and i have a big penis. don’t you forget it”. maybe it was different in the second half? i only saw the first…

  1. I agree. Both of them are yucky. Bush is going to let people kill the earth, and Gore is going to get us killed. Yippee. I wish I could vote today! I had to go to a child’s funeral today, tomorrow I have to go to a whole family’s funeral. (they all died in a fire) So, I think that what they are debating about, and everything that they “stand for” is a bunch of crap. None of the families had insurance, both worked hard, yet no one is there to help them, except for friends and people in town who actually have a heart. It’s a sad thing.

i created them (hopefully brad will make them available for everyone’s journals soon) but if you want to search for some, they are kao ani.

  2. I know this is offtopic, but I gotta ask a question to all the web designers out there, this may sound like a stupid question, but do any of you have problems with jpgs/gifs blurring on upload?? I’ve tried 3 or 4 different servers over my time designing and I have *always* had problems so I’m guessing it’s something I’m doing wrong, anybody got any ideas????

  3. “If God wanted us to vote he’d have given us candidates”

The funny comment I heard recently was that: now that Yugoslavia has broken free of totalitarianism and achieved democracy, they can start to experience the benefits of democracy, like getting to choose between two no-talent dweebs because the only people capable of doing the job are too smart to seek it…

  4. Ok, since I don’t know how to link to my entry I’ll just copy it here. I wrote it last night right as the debates were ending…..It pretty much says how I feel (yed, bush is icky, and I couldn’t believe I heard that he won too, who decided that the republicans…)

Am watching the debates right now, and leaning more and more towards Gore. I have actually never saw someone dance around straight forward questions like Bush (maybe that’s an advantage in the job, but not trying to GET in the job). Okay, I’m not really political at all, but I stand by my rights to vote for who I feel will best be able to do the job, and so should everyone (I was actually mad at myself because last election I forgot to reregister when I moved and couldn’t vote). Vote your brains out this year everyone, I can deal with whoever gets elected, I love to watch the returns (the numbers don’t matter to me there, it’s when I see the numbers for the voter turn out that scares me!).

  5. voting

I’ve never voted for anyone. I hate politics, it’s such bull in my opinion.

I’m seeing to it that I never even register to vote.

  6. Stellar candidates…NOT!!!!!

I share many of the same views with the commentors in this thread. Not any ideal candidates to vote for.

One point however is that if you don’t take the opportunity to vote then shut the hell up. Your opinion means nothing if you aren’t willing to do something about it.
