it’s been a very emotional morning for me. we took the baby’s body to a vet that has cremation services. i lost it and started crying once we told her what we were there for. she brought us in a separate room while danny filled out a form. she was very very nice. we chose not to save the remains. everyone we have talked to says that it sounds like the baby had some sort of under-developed digestive system or blockage. i hope she didn’t suffer.

we went back to our pet store. jack (the owner) felt really bad about it. he was patent with me while i checked 3 different bunnies till i found a girl. she is white with black whiskers and silvery hairs all over. it looks like someone dusted her with glitter. she was active, eating, and pooping healthy. she was in another hutch with a different group of bunnies. i am sad that bunbun has to start the bonding process all over, but i am glad she didn’t have time to get attached to the baby before this happened. i just scrubbed out the hutch and bleached any germs out. it is all clean and dry and set up for the little fluffmonster now.

i’ve got to work now. what should i name the little one? she is on my streaming cam right now – i will post a picture later, but i have to work right now.
