      I’ve heard that some vegetarians are willing to eat chicken, since it’s more vegetable than animal on the evolutionary scale of intellect anyway … I recall folk singer Greg Brown’s long song-story in which at one point he refers to chicken as “a cusp species” which I always thought was a hilarious turn of phrase … sort of ambulatory broccoli.

    I made split pea soup tonight too. Must be a rainy Virginia night kind of thing. I put fake ham, carrots, and lots of green onions in mine. I hope your soup makes you feel better!

  3. I am so sorry that you are sick :(( Girlie stuff sucks soooo bad.
    This has nothing to do with anything, but I was wondering if you’d ever auction off some of your art like Ana just did. Because I was thinking last night about you needing money and I remembered that night you were drawing faeries on cam and I was thinking I would love to have a drawing like that. I would bid on it.
    Also, as soon as my credit card bill goes down a little, I am going to buy something from the purple monkey line in your store because that is the fucking cutest thing I’ve seen in ages.

    • i auctioned off two of my prints once (one was even a fairy). they didn’t do that great – not much bidding. once person even sent a bigger check cause they felt bad about winning low. i dicided it wasn’t worth the effort.
