what a frustraiting evening! i got home and did a few hours of admin work – typing users into a list and printing records and stuffs. boring boring but i had to get it started before i regretted it later. danny cooked a yummy meal of gardenburgers with a little bit of munster cheese (thats about all the cheese i can handle). then i finised up my admin and printing. i started having all sorta of problems with my compter after that. all programs and folders were takeing 20 seconds to open. i couldn’t get anything done. i tried to take care of emptying 4,000 images out of the trash but i gave up after 7 minutes of staring at the stopwatch curser and restarted. i tried norton disk doctor, disk first aid, deleting the finder prefs, rebuiling the deskop, resetting the pram, checking the fragmentation of the hd… none of that was doing anything, but i noticed my printer was blinking and asking for paper. i gave it some and it spewed out several lines of garbage before stopping. i had to force it to spit it out. it was still blinking, so the next time i restarted i was able to start it up again on another sheet. it spewed out more garbage then decided it was happy and stopped blinking. all of a sudden i was able to empty the trash and all my apps were happy and fast again. weird weird weird. at least midway throiught the ordeal i had the sence to update my backups ofmy email data and the stv site. they had changed a lot and i wouldn’t want to loose them. sigh. i was going to do the rest of the july archives but that is now postponed till tomorrow. it is past my bedtime already.

here is a picture of me from lunchtime when me and my coworker stopped by a very expensive mall. all we were doing was going to macy’s to look at something for her, but i saw fao schwartz and i couldn’t help going in. the evil 2-story toy store called to me. i had to hug all the stuffed animals and touch all the toys before i could leave. i tried to find a stuffed pug doggie for danny but that was the one type they didn’t have.

okay okay to bed i go. oo! the tolat donations for today were $126.50. i went ahead and donated $150.00 to parkinsons.org. i will continue to donate all my monday sign-up donations form now on, but i will be doing it in a lump sum at the end of each month. thank you to everyone who joined! i love being able to donate money towards finding a cure for my daddy…
