aaahh! i just took a super-hot bath with raspberry bubbles and bath salt. my muscles arn’t achy anymore and i am air-drying. i feel a little sticky though.. i need to rinse off with clean water i think.
danny is in bed. he layed down for a nap hours ago. he woke up slightly at 12:30am and i asked if he just wanted to stay asleep. he said yes so i took his shoes off and kissed him goodnight.
puppycat just jumped up onto my chair. he thinks i have food cause he smells raspberries. he gave up and now i just have a furry bum-warmer.
dunno how late i will be up. it depends on if i get sucked into some sort of design project. feel free to stop by chat, but be patient if it takes me a while to glance over at it π
staying up late
Hi Stephanie,
I went to sleep earlier tonight since I went to bed at 1am last night and got up at 5:30am to help my wife. By 10pm I was wore out and just crawled into bed. But it seems that since March I haven’t slept a whole night without waking up after only a few hours because of an injury. But it has improved a little, which is good, the doctor still might operate if it keeps hurting and if my rehab hits a standstill.
Just wanted to say hi before I try and ZzZzZz some more. Didn’t want to bother you in chat since my brain is a little fuzzy. hehe Never heard of taking a raspberry bath to help sore muscles. Sounds kewl though, but I don’t think a man good get away with it and go out in public, especially around my friends, but I’ll tell Sue about it she will love it I’m sure. π I’m 43 and I learn something everyday. Is it the bath salt that helps the sore muscles, while the raspberry makes you smell yummy? I’m sure the super-hot water was relaxing in itself!
nite, nite!!!!
hiya!
Hey, Steph… your bath sounds scrum-diddly-umptious! I wanted to give you a recipe for a milk bath mixture, though. It’s fabuloso, and really easy to make… π
All you do is get one box of powdered milk and one box of bath powder…. mix the two together and PRESTO! Milk bath! You can use however much you want at a time… but if you’re making it for someone else, you can either put it in tiny jars (serving size, so to speak) or do what I did: get some of those fold-over sandwich baggies, put a 1/4 cup of it in there, and tie it up with pretty ribbon. God, I feel like Martha!! π
TTFN.
Kass
